Culture

We look at how culture and sport services support ambitions for the local area and are focused on improving quality of life for all sections of the community. We think about culture’s contribution to key priorities for people, places, councils, and government.

The Commission’s approach to inspections is set out in our Approach to Service Inspections ‘Compendium of inspection policy and practice’ and the detailed key lines of enquiry informs the inspection focus and the basis of our judgements.
