The Area Information Team publishes a regularly updated FAQ document on the national indicator set. It is based on the questions that we have received to date through our online enquiry form. The information it contains has been reviewed in conjunction with Communities and Local Government (CLG) and the relevant government departments.
You can find the latest version of this document towards the bottom of this page. It is important that you review the FAQs in conjunction with the Handbook of Technical Definitions (external link) published by CLG in April 2008 and its update (external link) published in February 2009.
