Since 2000, a number of the inspectorates have been working together sharing inspection plans. A database shows inspection activity that has been undertaken in single tier and county councils by the Audit Commission, Commission for Social Care Inspection, Ofsted, and HM Inspectorate of Probation for Youth Offending Team inspections.
The database also shows the inspection programme from 2000/01 through to the present financial year. It does not include inspections of education or social care establishments required for regulatory purposes. The details of the HM Inspectorate of Probation's Youth Offending Team inspection programme are included on the database from 2004/05. Details of Adult Learning Inspections between 2003/04 and 2006/07 and the Benefit Fraud Inspectorate up until 2007/08 are available on this database.
