Charnwood Borough Council is 'fair', according to a new report released today by the independent Audit Commission. The Council's comprehensive performance assessment (CPA) rating stayed the same as its 2004 score following an inspection of its performance by the Commission. The corporate assessment looked at the Council's ambitions, its ability to improve its services and what it has achieved since the last assessment.
