In Summing Up: A review of financial management in local government 2005-2008, we published a number of comparative financial ratios that would assist local authorities in assessing their financial performance and stated that we intended to make available a web based comparator tool enabling councils to review their ratios and how these compare to others. That comparator tool is now available.
