Wealden District Council is delivering a fair strategic housing service, with promising prospects for improvement. Positive aspects of the service included a strong focus on customer care and access to services and good quality information about local housing needs and market conditions. But delivery of new market and affordable housing has been very low in comparison with Council and regional targets.
