Mark Fletcher, Head of Trust Practice
Mark understands what it takes to be authorised and then prosper as a foundation trust, having led due diligence reviews for Monitor when he was the lead partner for healthcare consulting in Grant Thornton.
He rejoined the Audit Commission in October 2007 (he previously worked for the Commission in the early 1990s) and as Head of Trust Practice, is determined to build on the excellent progress it has made in its first five years.

Nigel Mander, Head of Trust Practice Business
Nigel is responsible for the development of our branding, marketing and business strategy for FTs and aspirant FTs. He has completed governance and strategic planning reviews with a number of trusts to prepare them for FT status.
He has provided a broad range of audit and advisory services, most recently to listed UK and international clients at KPMG.

Calum Pallister, Head of Trust Practice Business
Calum is responsible for the development of our audit and related services to deliver the increasingly commercial requirements of Trusts and FTs.
He is an alumnus of PwC and Accenture and has experience of providing both audit and advisory services to several international FTSE clients, most recently in the financial services sector.

Damian Murray, Trust Practice Lead Northern
Damian has audited a wide variety of NHS clients including FTs in the acute and mental health sectors. He has specialised in the audit of public private partnerships including private finance initiative, strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
He has been involved with Trust Practice since its inception and he facilitates a regular good practice workshop for NHS Audit Committee Chairs across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

Jon Hayes, Trust Practice Lead London (Mental Health)
Jon is London Region's Trust Practice lead for Mental Health. He is an experienced engagement lead and has had a mixed portfolio including FTs, aspirant FTs, Local Authorities and PCTs.
His speciality is in securing roll-overs, which have occurred for all the FTs he has been involved with.

Simon Garlick: Trust Practice Lead Southern
Simon is the Trust Practice lead for the Southern Region and has extensive NHS experience. He has been involved with Foundation Trust audits since their inception and has wide experience of helping trusts to achieve FT status including development of integrated business plans and running board to board challenge meetings.
He has also contributed to the development of a number of other audit tools designed to help our clients improve their service efficiency.

Catherine Mitchell: Trust Practice Mental Health Lead
Catherine is responsible for leading and co-ordinating Trust Practice work at mental health trusts. Catherine has delivered performance work at both health and local government organisations. Her particular interest in mental health has led her to develop a range of mental health benchmarking databases.
She is currently leading development work on service line management for mental health trusts.
