Since 2006, the Audit Commission's Trust Practice has held seminars on the theme of the High Performing Board. In recent years they have focused on quality and governance and board assurance.
This seminar was held for mental health foundation trust and aspiring mental health trust chairs, chief executives, finance directors, medical directors and clinical and business/divisional unit leads.
These events help governors understand the information they require to carry out their duties effectively.
